You’ll commence your day with a transfer from your Hanoi hotel to the Perfume Pagoda, located about 70 kilometres away. Named after the flowers that scent the air during the springtime, the Perfume Pagoda is one of many pagodas that sit nestled within the surrounding hills. Next you’ll enjoy a boat trip on the Yen River, passing sprawling rice fields and lush mountains along the way. Following your cruise you’ll make your way back to dry land where you’ll depart on a two-hour pilgrimage to a famous Buddhist pagoda. Situated inside a cave, this pagoda is a truly magical experience. The caves are extremely popular with locals during the yearly Pagoda Festival. This is held during the first three months of the lunar spring and attracts hundreds of thousands of pilgrims from across Asia.
Nature lovers rejoice as you cruise through rice fields and past 'Halong Bay' style rock formations on the way to visit one of the most important Buddhist pilgrimage sites.
