Go Local Luang Prabang Fruit Carving Experience

This experience will introduce you to the art and techniques of how to carve fruit. Guest pick up from the hotel and transfer to the location to meet the expert local chef. Listen as the chef explains about the exotic fruit of the region and then guides you in the techniques that produce the beautiful creations familiar to diners across Southeast Asia. Then get hands on and choose 1 big fruit and 1 small fruit to operate on! Choices include the visually stunning watermelon or the classic pumpkin and the smaller fruits include the cucumber or dragon fruit and other seasonal fruits on offer. After you learn the techniques, you can essentially carve most any fruit or vegetable as the principles are largely similar. The chef is on hand to help polish the technique required to create a unique piece. At the end of the workshop transfer back to the hotel.
