Although only a 90 minute drive from Kuala Lumpur, Kuala Selangor has a great deal to offer visitors, especially those who wish to take gain an insight into Malaysian rural life. You’ll discover that fishing & farming are the main occupations here, although a large part of the area has also been cultivated with oil palm & rubber. Upon arrival, you’ll be taken to a Chinese fishing village – a perfect spot to capture unique photos. You’ll be rowed upstream where you can see thousands of fireflies flickering like Christmas lights in mangrove trees lining the banks of the river – a magical sight.
