Hoi An Countryside and Island Exploration by Vespa

This countryside tour of Hoi An will give you real insight to local life.
Setting off from Caf'e9 Zoom in Hoi An, you will ride over the bridge to Cam Kim Island and along the riverside into the beautiful rural countryside.
Your first stops will be at a family's ancestral house and a traditional boat builder, then set off to explore the sleepy island villages zig-zagging through the breath-taking scenery of rice paddies & farmland and enjoying the cooling breeze. At the next stops, you will learn from friendly local families the art of mat weaving, farming, and how to make (and eat) the perfect Banh Dap rice crackers. Interaction with local families is a good way to observe the real way of life in Vietnam.
After snacking on rice crackers, you will visit a local caf'e9 to fuel up on local drip-coffee and learn the art of coffee roasting. Then, continue riding to the coast at the Thu Bon river mouth, along village roads lined with Casuarina Pine and cashew nut trees. Finally, it's up high and over the new bridge offering spectacular panoramic views of Hoi An, which takes you to the water coconut palm fringed Cam Thanh and then on to a local lunch at a restaurant located at a picturesque place (seasonal).
