tour description
See a more tranquil part of Thailand as you enjoy a trip away from the rush of people. You'll visit Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, tucked away in the mountains at an elevation of 3,280 feet (1,056 meters). Soak up the relaxed atmosphere as you look out over the stunning views that are on offer. To reach the temple itself, you'll climb up a Naga staircase of 290 steps. The monastery was built by King Gue-Na in 1383 & wears its ancient heritage with pride. In its centre stands a huge Chedi (spired pagoda), which contains partial relics of Lord Buddha. Next, you'll continue to the delightful Hmong village of Doi Pui. Learn how the hill people make a living by selling handicrafts, fabrics & curious decorative ornaments. This is a truly unique experience in Thailand that you will not want to miss. Pick up & Drop off at Chiang Mai city
