This tour to Georgetown will allow you to experience all the sights and sounds of Penang Island! You’ll begin with a visit to the world’s 4th longest statue of The Reclining Buddha – Wat Chayamangkalaram. From here you’ll proceed to the Dhammikarama Temple, the first Buddhist temple built in Penang. Next you’ll drive past Penang’s ‘harmony street’, where Saint George’s Anglican Church is located. You’ll also see Penang’s oldest Taoist temple, Kuan Yin (Goddess of Mercy Temple) and the oldest Hindu temple, the Sri Mariamman Temple. Finally you’ll make your way to the oldest Indian Muslim mosque, Masjid Kapitan Keling, before continuing to Khoo Kongsi – a magnificent hall embellished with intricate wood carvings. You’ll conclude your day with a photo-stop at the fascinating Fort Cornwallis.
