tour details

The outskirts of Siem Reap is the perfect location to explore by bicycle. This 20km tour (primarily on unpaved roads), will provide you with an insight into local Cambodian life that is generally unseen by the regular tourist. You’ll commence your ride on unpaved roads from the starting point to the Cham village. Here you’ll see the cultural diversity of the region as you make a quick visit to the local mosque. You’ll then continue riding until you reach the small yet impressive Wat Tschor Pagoda. You’ll continue your journey, cycling through villages and the fascinating countryside, far off the main roads. See local temples, school children, farms and quaint traditional houses along the way. To conclude your tour, you’ll stop at a local village for a break before returning to your hotel.

      notes

The wet season is not the ideal time for biking. The best season is from November through to April, roughly corresponding to the dry season and the tourist high season. May, June and July need not be a bad time either, as it is hard to predict when the rains will come. We would not recommend a biking trip during August and September.
