As you explore the outskirts of Kuala Lumpur city, you’ll first visit the well-known Royal Selangor Pewter factory – the largest in the world – to learn about its history and watch a demonstration of some of the many processes of a pewter product. Continue your trip with a stop at the Batik Centre to find out how the popular Malaysian fabric is designed and printed. You’ll then proceed to the stunning Batu Caves. This famous limestone outcrop houses a Hindu temple and is visited by thousands of pilgrims and tourists every year. You’ll have a chance to admire the impressive golden structure of the 140 feet tall statue of the Hindu God Lord Murugan. As you reach the top, you’ll be greeted by cheeky monkeys and rewarded with a great view of the beautiful skyline of Kuala Lumpur.
