Joint pick up from your city hotel and transfer to River City shopping complex for registration. Depart by chartered coach from River City to Bang Pa Inn, the former summer palace of King Rama V. Continue to the Ayutthaya Historical Park. Ayutthaya once was the capital of the Siamese kingdom, until it was occupied by the Burmese army in 1767 army and practically leveled to the ground.
Visit Wat Mahathat: Over 600 years old, and the heart and soul of the Ayutthaya people. It was almost destroyed during the Thai-Burmese war. Wat Na Phra Mane remains in perfect condition as it was used as the Burmese headquarters. The splendid Golden Buddha dressed in regal attire was placed in the temple a long with the 3,000 years old green stone carved Buddha. Both are considered as extremely valuable national relics. Wat Lokayasutharam: has a mysterious with its originsu unknown. The temple enshrines the largest reclining Buddha image which was built during the early period of the Ayutthaya region.
At approx. 13.00hrs, board the White Orchid River Cruise and enjoy a Thai and International buffet lunch whilst cruising down the Chao Praya River towards Bangkok. Coffee and tea is also available complimentary. Disembark at River City pier and joined transfer back to your city hotel.
