Arrive in Kunming, the origin of China-Burma Road, which played an important role for China’s victory in World War II. Our Chinese representative will welcome you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel for check-in. Have a welcome dinner at Feihu Lou Restaurant. Located in the old headquarters of the legendary Flying Tigers, this restaurant serves authentic Yunnan and Cantonese dishes in a dining environment that revives the spirit of Kunming in the early 1940s. Today firstly visit Flying Tiger Museum which is in memory of a bunch of American young pilots flying voluntarily from USA to China with the Disney Painting on their planes, helped a lot in the anti-Japanese war for the Chinese and defensed a lot of booming attack from the Japanese on the border of Yunnan and Myanmar under the leading of a great and arrogant general- Clair Lee Chennault.And then go to Jiaoye Park （suburb park, visit Hump Monument, a memorial honoring those American pilots who flew over Himalaya and died in World War II. Picnic lunch at Jiaoye Park. After lunch, go to visit the Bamboo Temple which is a Mahayana Monastery. Set in the tranquil hills just outside Kunming, this complex dates back to the Tang Dynasty. It is famous for its 500 life sized carved Arhats or disciples of Buddha.After the tour, transfer back to the hotel.

Morning drive 86 km to the Stone Forest, remarkable ensemble of bizarre-shaped karstic peaks created by erosion of wind and rain some two million years ago. You can have chance to take part in the Yi dance in the Square. About 2hrs hiking there. After lunch, drive back to city centre to have a look around the Green Lake Park. It is one of the most picturesque parks in downtown Kunming. In November and December every winter, huge flock of red-beaked gulls migrates here from Siberia. Around the park, there are also many excellent bars and restaurants. Since the park is the only one that stays open until 10PM, it is an ideal place for enjoying some Kunming local life.After the tour, transfer back to the hotel. Accommodation at hotel.

Fly to Tengchong.Upon arrival, meet with the local guide and go to do the tour start from Heshun Township - Home place of Overseas Chinese. Heshun Village is one of the most beautiful villages in China with its impressive library of over 70,000 books, well preserved houses and courtyards. In the afternoon take a visit at Graveyard of the National Heroes which is a total of 3346 ranked and anonymous soldiers are buried in the National Martyrs Cemetery, who died in World War II. Then we will visit the World War II Museum in Heshun Old Town. The museum is the first and biggest one in Yunnan Province with a lot of war relics collected from the civil, among which, there are relics of Japanese, American and allied forces.  Later check in the hotel. Drive southwest along Stilwell Road which was built in memory of General Joseph Stilwell by Chinese army in 1944. The road was an earthen road but now an expressway. Then we will arrive at the border town of Ruili, formerly famous as an opium trading centre, but now as a jade centre. Visit the border trading market, Dai minority village and several Dai style temples and pagodas.Accommodation at hotel.

Today you have two options, one is drive to Mangshi airport for flight back to Kunming and then connected flight your next destination. Another one is cross the border and continues the tour to Myanmar.
