Only a short trip from Hoi An, the My Son Temples are all that remain of the former Cham Empire.

My Son is located 69 kilometres southwest of Danang and was the imperial city during the Cham dynasties of the 4th and 12th centuries. You’ll begin your day with a visit to the fascinating My Son Sanctuary, a cluster of crumbling yet charming Hindu temples. This large complex of ancient religious relics comprises more than 70 architectural works and is a truly magnificent sight. The sanctuary complex includes a series of connected temples and towers with complicated red brick designs. The main focal point of the Cham architectural design is the tower, built to reflect the divinity of the king. The tower temples were built continuously over a period of 1000 years. On the way back to your hotel, you’ll stop for a short visit to the Sa Huynh Champa Culture Museum in Tra Kieu.
