See the ancient city of Hue from a unique perspective as you cruise gently down the Perfume River.
Located in central Vietnam, Hue is the former capital of Vietnam’s last dynasty and enjoys an elegant setting on the banks of the Perfume River. Founded as a royal city in 1687, Hue is known for its citadels, palaces, royal tombs and pagodas. Having preserved its cultural heritage, Hue is the perfect city to get a glimpse into imperial court life.
Arrive in Hue, you will first take a boat trip on Perfume River to Thien Mu Pagoda, then you will proceed on to visit Minh Mang Royal Tomb set amidst a lush pine hill by the river and considered to be one of the most beautiful mausoleums. Then you will explore the Imperial Citadel. Located on the banks of the Perfume River, the citadel was designed for the exclusive use of the emperor and his household and forms part of the Hue Royal Complex, which has been officially recognised by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. You’ll conclude your tour with a visit to the Tu Duc Royal Tomb, considered to be one of Hue’s most beautiful mausoleums.
