If it is a full moon (15th day of the Lunar calendar), then the ancient streets are transformed into romantic pedestrian lanes. The regular electric streetlights give way to colourful lanterns – traditional symbols of Hoi An. Experience a poem reading on one of the main streets, witness the Bai Choi traditional opera, and see the other cultural activities that take place in public spaces throughout the ancient town.
Enjoy an evening stroll along the Hoai River and observe the myriad of floating flower lanterns set afloat by pilgrims.
