Experience a once-in-a-lifetime with the elephants of the Tong Bai Foundation. You will experience the serenity and the friendliness of the elephants and will be brought closer to their affectionate world. The Tong Bai Elephant Tour welcomes all including children. The Tour is not for those who want to see elephants perform shows, dance and paint pictures.
Your guide and driver will meet you at the hotel and will drive through a beautiful landscape to Sanpatong and onwards to Mae Win. Here we will spend most of the day with the elephants of the Tong Bai Foundation. The maximum group size is 10 people, due to this you will have plenty of time with the elephants.
We will provide you with trousers and shirts to change into for trekking and bathing with the elephants. Please respect the Thai culture by dressing modestly and consider that bathing in swimsuits is not appropriate. We recommend trekking sandals.

The maximum group size is 10 persons, allowing you plenty of time with the elephants.
During the morning Tong Bai employees will provide you with information about the foundation and about the situation of the Asian Elephant, a species which is on the red list of threatened species. After this they will introduce you to the elephants and you will get to know them up close. Following this introduction enjoy a lunch with Thai specialties. After that walk with the elephants through the forest to the river where you have the opportunity to bathe with them.
After you and the elephants had their fun in the water, bring the elephants back to their compound. Then it will be around 16:00hrs and time to say goodbye to your new friends at the Tong Bai Foundation. Transfer back to Chiang Mai after an unforgettable day at the Tong Bai Foundation.
