The Elephant Dance Festival is a cultural highlight of Kyaukse, annually held for two days to pass the fun and tradition from generation to generation, since the 11th century.  Huge elephant figures are made by paper, bamboo and fabric, etc. to join the festival and to compete not only for the best elephant dance performance, but also for the nicest-decorated elephant. Spend your time enjoying the competitions and get mesmerized by the beautiful decorations of the dummy elephant figures.
