This fascinating tour starts 100km west of Bangkok at the rural floating market of Damnoen Saduak. Here you will glimpse the rural lifestyle of this province as you take a short trip along its canals in a long tail boat. Next, we continue on to Kanchanaburi where the famous bridge over the River Kwai awaits you for a photo stop. After lunch you will be able to explore the interactive Thailand-Burma Railway Centre which offers an educational and moving experience for its visitors. Finally, we take you to the two well-kept war cemeteries, which contain the graves of an estimated 9000 allied soldiers who lost their lives while building the bridge and constructing the notorious “Death Railway” which the Japanese had hoped to stretch all the way to the Burmese (Myanmar) border.
