tour details

Dive into the rich history of modern Vietnam and explore the famous Cu Chi Tunnels, an underground network that was constructed by Vietnamese fighters during their struggle for independence. The underground city took more than 25 years to complete and comprises living rooms, kitchens, hospitals, weapon factories, storage facilities and a command centre. You’ll learn why the tunnel system was an excellent way for the Viet Cong to move around the countryside undetected by the Americans. You’ll first watch a short introductory video that explains how the tunnels were constructed. You’ll then explore the maze of tunnels up close as you delve inside. You’ll also observe various mantraps, the remains of an American tank and numerous bomb craters made by 500 pound bombs dropped by B52 bombers.
