Boat Trip to the Mekong Islands

You’ll commence your day bright and early with a transfer from your downtown hotel to the port at approximately 8.00am. After departing the port, you’ll cruise along the Tonle Sap Lake, past Phnom Penh’s riverside buildings and the 150 year-old Royal Palace. Enjoy this relaxing cruise until you reach the point where the Tonle Sap Lake feeds into the impressive Mekong River. At approximately 9:30am, you’ll arrive at Kho Dach (Silk Island), the village of the silk weavers. Here you’ll disembark the boat and visit the local village. Wander through the village, observe the silk weavers at work, and learn about the lives of the local villagers and farmers. You’ll conclude your tour with a quick visit to a nearby pagoda before cruising back to Phnom Penh and transferring to your hotel.
