Biking on Yao Island: Join In

Only an hour’s boat ride from the busy tourist hub of Phuket, Koh Yao Noi Island sits in the picturesque Phang Nga Bay. With no loud bars, no high-rise hotels, and only a handful of bungalows overlooking the Andaman Sea, Koh Yao Noi offers a more traditional way of life. We’ll start our trip by biking along the north-eastern part of Phuket to Bang Rong pier, where we’ll catch the ferry. Once on Koh Yao Noi, we’ll bike through fishing communities, rice paddies and secluded beaches, making several stops along the way to take photos and learn about local life. We’ll also bike to a viewpoint on a hill and enjoy a stunning view of the surrounding islands. After a Thai lunch at a local restaurant, you’ll have free time to relax on the beach and go for a swim before cycling back to the ferry.
