Experience the rural life off the beaten track, hike through the beautiful sceneries, explore the surrounding villages where you will meet the local community from the different ethnic groups. Enjoy your peaceful stay in unspoiled natural surroundings with unrivalled views of the water and surrounding hills, at a sustainable Eco Lodge, located in Phayartaung Village.

Pick up from your hotel in Yangon and transfer to the airport for domestic flight to Loikaw. Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by your tour guide and transferred to the top of the 11th century Taung Kwe Zedi, scenically built on a hillock overlooking the town and the expanse of the environs. Then continue by road to Phekhone for an hour and board a boat for approximately 1'bd hours to Phayartaung Village. Enjoy the breathtakingly beautiful scenery on the way. Lunch at local restaurant.
Dinner and accommodation at Inle Sanctuary hotel, Phayartaung
After breakfast, take a short boat trip in the lake and visit the 5-Day market (only on market days, alternatively taking place once in every 5 days), either in Nam Toke Village or Lon Kan Village. Witness a fascinating insight into the life-style of the ethnic Pa-O, Danu and Inthar people who visit these markets to buy and sell. After the visit to market, proceed to the western shore and take a stroll for approximately 2 hours to visit Saw Lum village and Ho Pe Village where you will observe the lifestyle of local Kayah community. Later, you will continue by boat to Ma Som Kham Village and have a simple home cooked lunch in a house of Shan family. After that, visit Kan Daw Village where you will witness orchards of avocado and get a small peek of farming in the village. Afterwards, visit Nam Sin Water Spring, flowing out of a small limestone cave, before you return back to your hotel by boat (30 min).
Dinner and accommodation at Inle Sanctuary hotel, Phayartaung
This morning, you will take a 4-wheel vehicle to explore Hti War Mu Village of Lisu tribe (2 'bd hours). En route, visit Hta Min Choe Pagoda and Hti Ree limestone cave. Enjoy a simple lunch in a house of Lisu family. You will have time to interact with the elders in traditional costumes and listen to their folklore. On the way back, visit Yebu Village of Inthar tribe and Payataung Monastery, a development school with over a thousand of students.
Dinner and accommodation at Inle Sanctuary hotel, Phayartaung
In the morning, you will be transferred by boat (approximately 3'bd hours) to Nyaung Shwe. Take your chance to visit Thar Kaung Pagoda Complex, over 200 stupas dating back to 13-18th century period. Upon arrival, proceed by boat to Inle lake.
