Arrival in Pakse
Morning
You will be met in the morning upon arrival at Pakse International Airport and transfer and check in at the hotel. We then drive to Champasak to visit the pre-Angkorian Wat Phu Temple. Wat Phu, is a World Heritage Site that means ‘mountain temple’. The temples in this complex are dated between the 6th and 13th centuries. Located on a hillside, Wat Phu Temple will provide you with spectacular views over the surrounding plains, rice paddies and the Mekong River.
Lunch is at a local restaurant.
Afternoon
Continue by car to Ban Khiet Ngong village and take a walk through the forest to reach your final destination - the enigmatic Phu Asa Temple, which lies amidst dense jungle. Return to Pakse.
Dinner and accommodation at the hotel.
