After departing your downtown hotel, you’ll visit Ho Chi Minh’s War Remnants Museum where you’ll learn about the history and atrocities from the Vietnam War. From here you’ll continue to Thien Hau Temple, one of the city’s most important pagodas. A labyrinthine network of temples, restaurants and shops is next as you visit the always-lively Chinatown and the nearby Binh Tay market. After lunch at a local restaurant, you’ll proceed to Reunification Hall, home to the presidents of the former South Vietnam from the 1960s until 1975. The remainder of your tour is dedicated to visiting some of Ho Chi Minh’s impressive colonial architecture. Located in the heart of the city, you’ll visit the charming Notre Dame Cathedral, before making your way to the imposing General Post Office and City Hall.
