Held in the beach town of Nha Trang, Challenge Vietnam is a half triathlon that runners can undertake individually or as a relay team. The course consists of a 1.9-kilometre ocean swim, a 90-kilometre bike ride along the spectacular cliffs of Nha Trang and a 21-kilometre run through Nha Trang City. Those staying after the race can enjoy Nha Trang’s pleasant weather, plentiful fresh seafood and pumping nightlife. This year the triathlon begins 11 September 2017.
About Nha Trang: Nha Trang is a coastal resort city in southern Vietnam known for its beaches, diving sites and offshore islands. Its main beach is a long, curving stretch along Tran Phu Street backed by a promenade, hotels and seafood restaurants. Aerial cable cars cross over to Hòn Tre Island, and the nature reserves of Hòn Mun and Hòn Tằm islands, reachable by boat, have coral reefs.
