กุฎีจีน เป็นชุมชน 3 ศาสนา (พุทธ คริสต์และอิสลาม) 4 ความเชื่อ แต่เดิม ชาวโปรตุเกสคือ ชาติแรกที่อพยพเข้ามาตั้งถิ่นฐานในย่านนี้ ทุกวันนี้ อิทธิพลจากโปรตุเกสก็ยังเด่นชัดอยู่ในวิถีชีวิต สถาปัตยกรรม รวมถึงอาหารด้วย ของอร่อยชื่อดังชุมชนกุฎีจีนคือ ขนมฝรั่งกุฎีจีน ซึ่งก็คือคัพเค้ก แบบฉบับโปรตุเกส นอกจากขนมฝรั่งนี้ ทีชุมชนกุฎีจีน ยังมีผู้สืบทอดวัฒนธรรมอาหารไทย-โปรตุเกส ที่รังสรรค์เมนูอร่อย เอาจานเด็ดโปรตุเกสมาผสมผสานสูตรแบบไทยๆ ออกมาเป็นรสชาติอร่อย ถูกปาก และมีฝีมือท าขนมหวานไทยโบราณที่ต้องใช้ความประณีตขั้นสูง ทริปนี้เปิดโอกาสให้ได้ลิ้มรส เมนูอร่อยต่างๆ ที่หาทานยากมากขึ้นทุกวัน และได้ลองลงมือท าขนมหวานไทยโบราณด้วยตัวเองด้วย

09.00 น. พร้อมกัน ณ สถานีรถไฟฟ้า MRT สถานีสนามไชย ทางออก 5
09.15 น. นั่งเรือโดยสารข้ามฟากจากท่าเรือยอดพิมานไปยังท่าเรือวัดกัลยาณมิตร
09.45 น. เดินทางถึงชุมชนกุฎีจีน พบกับพี่ปิ่น ตัวแทนของชุมชนที่จะพาเราเดินสำรวจรอบๆ ชุมชน
11.30 น. เรียนรู้วิธีทำอาหารไทย-โปรตุเกส ณ บ้านสกุลทอง พี่แตน เจ้าของบ้านรอต้อนรับ
13.30 น. เยี่ยมชมพิพิธภัณฑ์กุฎีจีน เรียนรู้ประวัติความเป็นมาของชุมชนแห่งนี้ จากนั้น เดินต่อไปยังบ้านจันทนภาพ บ้านทรงไทยที่ให้หลักการก่อสร้างแบบโบราณ พบกับป้าแดง เจ้าของบ้านที่จะมาเล่าความเป็นมาของบ้านหลังนี้ที่มีอายุกว่า 100 ปี ให้ได้ฟัง
15.00 น. เดินทางกลับด้วยเรือโดยสาร

Nestled on the west bank of the Chao Phraya River, the intriguing Kudeejeen community has been a cultural melting pot for centuries. Formed by Portuguese residents during the Thonburi period, the settlement has long been one of Bangkok’s most multicultural neighbourhoods where Christians, Buddhists and Muslims peacefully coexist. The mix of people and backgrounds has also lead to a unique Portuguese-influenced culture and cuisine.
Food is always a central focus in Thailand, but this walking tour puts it front and centre allowing you to taste your way through the Kudeejeen community with a knowledgeable local. To cap off the experience, sample both Thai-Portuguese and rare royal Thai dishes…you’ll even learn how to make a traditional royal Thai dessert!
Here’s what you can look forward to:
9:00 hours – Meet the day’s group at Sanamchai MRT Station, Exit 5 then take a cross–river ferry to Wat Kalayanamitr.
9:45 hours – Arrive at Kudeejeen and meet Khun Pin, a community leader who will be your guide for the day. Start by strolling to visit Kuan An Keng, a 200-year-old Chinese shrine, then admire the beauty of Santa Cruz Church, located in the middle of Kudeejeen. Next, see how the community’s famous khanom farang, a Portuguese-style cupcake topped with raisins, persimmon, dried winter melon and sugar.
11:30 hours – Lunchtime! Head to Baan Sakun Tong where the owner has inherited recipes for traditional royal Thai cuisine from the reign of King Rama V and Portuguese dishes from her ancestors. She is known in the area for her delicious Thai–Portuguese dishes and will also show you how to make – then enjoy – a delectable royal Thai dessert.
13:30 hours – After lunch, visit the Kudeejeen Museum to learn more about the community’s history then walk to Chantanaparp Thai House, a traditional house that’s over 100 years old. Here you’ll be regaled with stories of the house from Auntie Daeng, the house’s owner.
15:00 hours – After a busy day of discovery, it’s time to say goodbye to Kudeejeen and travel back by boat to Sathorn Pier.
