Spring Airlines, the aviation subsidiary of Shanghai Spring International Travel Service, now offers three flights per week from Guangzhou to Siem Reap. As of 9 September 2016, passengers can fly every Tuesday, Friday and Sunday on board a 180-seat A320.
The new direct services between Siem Reap and Guangzhou commenced after the airlines offered regular scheduled flights from Shanghai to Siem Reap-Angkor in February 2013. Three weeks later, Spring Airlines added another three flights per week from Guangzhou to Phnom Penh every Tuesday, Friday and Sunday. Spring Airlines is the second Chinese carrier to operate regular direct flights between Guangzhou and Phnom Penh after China Southern Airlines, which offers twice-daily flights with A320 and A321.
