Waterways are the key to discovering Amphawa and immersing yourself in the traditions of Thailand. The first stop on this tour is a market in Mae Klong that sits on a running railway line. Watch vendors swiftly pack away their fresh produce to make way for an oncoming train! We continue to Tha Kha to see a traditional floating market where elderly women offer local delicacies from their small rowboats. Exploring the canals by boat and visiting a local home will allow you to experience life in the waterways. From here, we head to Amphawa, famous for its traditional floating market and artisans. A visit to the Benjarong House and Museum is a chance to see the delicate work of local artisans. Finally we’ll stop at the centuries-old Wat Bang Kung, entirely embraced by a giant Banyan tree!
