Cambodia’s capital, Phnom Penh, has the charm of a bygone age in a cultural landscape dotted with temples and religious sanctuaries. At the start of this tour, we’ll head to Phnom Chisor mountain where we’ll enjoy the spectacular view of the surrounding plains and visit the 11th century Brahman temple. You’ll explore the complex, constructed of laterite and brick, with statues of Buddha inside the sanctuary. Heading to the roofless gallery, you’ll enjoy more incredible views of the temples and landscape below. Next, we’ll head to a silk weaving village where you’ll learn about the process of making silk by hand. After a picnic lunch, we’ll visit Prasat Neang Khmao, the temple of the Black Virgin, as well as Ta Prohm temple and Yeay Peau temple, before strolling near the lake of Tonle Bati.
