The natural scenery around Phuket is some of the best in Southern Thailand. Cycling along trails by the sea takes you to beautiful valleys and coconut groves. Starting at Tala Beach, we’ll bike quiet routes on village roads and local tracks, where you’ll have a chance to see scenic views of local Phuket lifestyle. We’ll bike along northeast Phuket, where you’ll see rubber plantations, beautiful valleys and small villages. We’ll pass places of interest as we head through Muslim villages along quiet back roads. We’ll stop at the Gibbon Rehabilitation Center, a unique project for the rescue, care and release of these hunted creatures. We’ll then ride to Ao Por viewpoint where you’ll enjoy stunning views of Phang Nga Bay in the distance. Finally, we’ll stop at a local shop for a coffee break.

The natural scenery around Phuket is some of the best in Southern Thailand. Cycling by the sea through some beautiful valleys and coconut groves, this tour takes you to visit many of Phuket's most beautiful scenic and natural attractions. You will have a chance to see Phuket life style close up and also most of the routes are scenic view. A relatively easy ride for all ages, although some experience will help! Mainly village roads and local tracks. Some challenging climbs but low hills that you can always walk up. So don't worry the views are perfect (around 20-22 kilometers)! The tour starts after with a pick you up from your hotel by van to Tala Beach. After the biking brief of routes, pedal and safety instructions, bike along the north eastern part of Phuket along trails and road through idyllic rubber plantations, stunning valleys and small villages. Picturesque coconut groves and friendly locals will become familiar sights along the way. Your guide will point out local plants and places of interest along the route. The bike route leads through Muslim villages along quiet back roads where you can enjoy the gorgeous scenery and local culture up close where the traditional way of life has remained unchanged. Along the way stop at one of a kind project, the "Gibbon Rehabilitation Center", next ride to the coast of the unseen part of Phuket for Ao Por View Point. Enjoy the scenery of Phang Nga Bay in the distance. After a short coffee break at a local coffee shop, van-transfer back to your hotel in Phuket. What to bring along: Sports shoes for bike riding (no flip flops!), light T-shirt, shorts or long pants, sun cream, sunglasses. Hat, insect repellent, Camera and film. Bicycles: Up to date mountain bikes, with 24-27 Shimano gears and front suspension. The bikes come equipped with water bottle carriers. Helmets are supplied (wearing helmets is mandatory)!
