Delve into central Vietnam’s rich history with fascinating visits to the Hoi An and My Son temples.

Departing Hoi An, you’ll drive to the former Imperial City of the Champa Empire, My Son. First stop is the famous My Son Sanctuary – a large complex of religious ruins comprising more than 70 architectural remains, primarily in the Hindu style. This UNESCO World Heritage Site was only rediscovered in 1898 after hundreds of years hidden and lying in ruin. As you make your way back from My Son, you’ll stop for a short visit at the Sa Huynh Champa Culture Museum in Tra Kieu. From here you’ll continue to Hoi An where you’ll have a delicious Vietnamese lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch you’ll discover Hoi An as you take a leisurely walking tour through the old town. You’ll visit some of the historic merchant and community houses, places of worship and the famous Japanese covered bridge.
