Explore the flavors of Mandalay on this foodie’s journey. At 07:30am, you’ll be picked up from your hotel for a touring ride in a Mandalay ‘sidecar’ (a chauffeur-pedaled bicycle with a passenger seat). You’ll get an interesting view of the streets along the way. When you try the famous morning noodle dish of mohinga, Myanmar pancake, samosa, Mandalay salad, Shan noodles and numerous sweet snacks, you’ll understand why Myanmar’s people walk around with a smile on their faces all day. In addition to tasting the food, you’ll have the opportunity to learn about how it’s made. Our resident food enthusiasts will explain the detail and some of the secrets behind this delicious food while you sample the best that Mandalay has to offer. The tour concludes at 11:30am when you return to your hotel.
