Spend a day admiring the art and architecture of Borneo. You’ll start with a visit to the Sabah Museum, with its fine collection of artifacts on natural history, ceramics, native handicraft & costumes, musical instruments, and more. There, you’ll have the opportunity to dig into the topics that arouse your interest and learn about the vibrant culture of Borneo’s past and present. Next, you’ll visit the Blue Mosque, which is surrounded by reflecting pools and a colourful Chinese temple with the largest statue in Borneo of Kwan Yin, the goddess of mercy. This area is one of the most sacred in the city, and it has a special atmosphere distinct from anywhere else. Swing by the Menara Tun Mustapha (formerly known as Sabah Foundation Building), the only column free building in South East Asia.
