Founded as a royal city in 1687, Hue is known for its citadels, palaces, royal tombs and pagodas. Having preserved its cultural heritage, Hue is the perfect city to get a glimpse into imperial court life. Your tour begins with a visit to the Imperial City of Hue and the Hue Citadel, designed exclusively for the Emperor and his household. This 200 year-old citadel provides an insight into the architecture of the time. The Hue royal complex is a sight to behold and is officially recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. You'll finish your tour with a cyclo ride through the narrow lanes of old Hue, passing homes, shops, hidden caf'e9s and parks.
