tour description

08:00 hrs. Pick up at your hotel in Hanoi and drive to Ninh Binh. Situated 92 km south of Hanoi, Ninh Binh is famous for the relics of the ancient capital city in Hoa Lu and the breathtaking landscape often dubbed as "Halong Bay on Land".

Your journey will first take you to Hoa Lu - the ancient capital - to visit temples of the Dinh and Le Dynasties.

Continue to Le dynasty pier in Tho Ha village. Join cooking class with the local chef and enjoy Vietnamese lunch

After lunch, take a leisurely ride by sampan to visit the Thien Ha Cave. Carved inside the Tuong Mountain (General Sworn-in Mountain) which used to be a natural wall of the ancient Hoa Lu capital, the cave is a complex of dry caves and an underground river. Archaeological excavation inside the cave showed that it used to be an enclave of the early man with traces of shells, stone tools and bones. Admire the jewellery lustre of the lively stalactites during your exploration of the cave. Afterwards you will take a short walk to the pier for another sampan ride through the Buddha Cave to Thung Chim (Bird Valley) and continue your leisurely ride to Thung Nham.

Disembark at Thung Nham pier and take return transfer to Hanoi.
