tour description

Pick up passengers from Chiang Mai town and drive through a winding and beaten up road to Ban Pang Hai, a local village situated 850 metres above sea level.
Begin the Hilltribe Cultural experience by understanding their basic history, way of life and culture. Take a hike through the farming and agriculture area to a small Mae Khi Village where we visit Hmong Shaman's house (the spiritual belief of Hmong people).
(1-1.30 hours for trekking). Lunch at the Hmong Hilltribe lodge. A small leisure time at the resort. After lunch, continue by mini-van to visit Baan Nong Hoi Mai, Baan Nong Hoi Kao, the village of the hills people and perched high on a ridge facing the valley, Mon Jam. From here, you'll reach an altitude of 1,350 meters with even more spectacular panoramic view. Return to Chiang Mai town. Then, continue to Queen Sirikit Botanical Gardens. This is a 900 hectare garden with 12 glasshouses and a 500m long canopy walk.
On the way back to Chiang Mai stop at Elephant Poo Paper Park, an eco-friendly, naturally built, outdoor museum park focused on introducing and explaining the unique steps involved in making our world famous paper products from elephant poo fibers. Extremely well done and supported by WWF, it is extremely well done with a great caf'e9, shop and plenty of opportunities for hands on during the whole process. Good hiking shoes are advised.
