Hike Along the Shores of Inle Lake

Boat trip to the village of Maing Thauk on the eastern shore of Inle Lake. Explore the 5-day rotating market (if your visit coincides with the schedule). Walk to Maing Thauk Monastery and proceed to Bawlapet Village on top of the mountain (approximately two hours hiking up a steep slope). Walk through this very scenic village and take a break under a shady tree. Continue walking uphill for another 45 minutes to Bondle village, a Pa-o Village passing through sugar cane, corn, cheroot fields. From this village, take another 30 minutes easy walk to Lwe Khaw (Done Dwan) Pa-O village. Lunch at local home (food is provided by the hiking guide team). In the afternoon, enjoy panoramic views over Inle Lake while returning downhill to the shore. Transfer by boat back to your hotel.
