This half-day walking tour offers a glimpse into Cochin’s rich history and heritage, showcasing the mixed Dutch, Portuguese, British and Jewish influences that make the city unique. Visit some of the most popular attractions in Cochin including the Chinese fishing nets, Fort Cochin, Mattancherry, St. Francis Church, the Dutch cemetery, Jewish synagogue and Dutch Palace.

Influenced by Dutch, Portuguese, British and Jewish inhabitants throughout the centuries, Fort Cochin's unique architecture and narrow lanes are best explored on foot. This 3- to 4-hour Heritage Walk in Cochin begins at the Vasco De Gama Square before passing traditional Chinese fishing nets, San Francis Church and Mattancherry Palace, also known as the Dutch Palace. The pleasant stroll also includes photo stops at the former Governor’s Residence and an art gallery.
