Your trip begins when we pick you up from your Luang Prabang hotel. The journey to the waterfall is approximately 30 kilometres from town. The journey is part of the adventure as the ride to the waterfall passes picturesque scenery and is a serene journey in itself.
You will be travelling through an environment of dense and vibrant green tropical jungle. Enjoy the Ride!
Upon arrival, explore the magnificent falls - some of the largest in the country! The waterfalls tumble over multi-tiered limestone formations into cool, turquoise, clear pools that are ideal for swimming in, or finding a shady spot, and relaxing next to. If you do want to swim there are wooden huts located at the entrance and if you are feeling adventurous you can climb via a path to the top of the waterfall. This waterfall is a picturesque spot where you can take some time out, refresh and unwind.
After the waterfalls, visit the "Bear Lao" Bear Sanctuary. Located near the path leading to the waterfall, the sanctuary provides a safe haven, shelter and rehabilitation for the bears, which have been rescued from bear bile farms and illegal private zoos. After you finish at the sanctuary return to your hotel in town
