Why choose this tour?
Explore the roads less travelled as you discover the natural beauty and cultural diversity of southern Laos.
Guests are collected from the hotel in Pakse and travel by car to visit the impressive and scenic Tad Fane waterfalls, located on the fascinating Bolaven Plateau. The Bolaven Plateau was formed by an ancient volcano millions of years ago and is famous for its agricultural products including numerous coffee and tea plantations. The plateau has a number of tribal villages, some of which still practice their ancient culture. Villagers can often be seen using primitive tools and conducting spiritual ceremonies. During the tour, there is the opportunity to visit villages of both the Lavai and Yaheune ethnic groups and to gain an appreciation of their diverse and unique cultures. Make a final stop at a tea and coffee plantation to learn why these products grow so well here, before returning to Pakse.
