After departing Danang, you’ll commence your tour with a visit to a local fishing village. It is here that you’ll learn about the daily lives of local Vietnamese fishermen, their families and their communities. Next you’ll board a local boat for a river cruise to the town of Cua Dai. Upon arrival you’ll get to chat with local fishermen and villagers. Here you’ll have the opportunity of a unique hands-on experience to learn traditional round net and cast net fishing techniques. You’ll also have the chance to learn to manoeuvre the unique Vietnamese bamboo basket boats and even join a basket boat race! You’ll conclude your tour by exploring the coconut palm flanked waterways. Hear stories and anecdotes from the war about the extreme conditions endured by servicemen and civilians alike.
