You’ll explore the Imperial City of Hue, with a first stop at the Hue Citadel. The Citadel is situated on the northern bank of the Perfume River. Built by Emperor Gia Long, it was designed for the exclusive use of the Emperor and his household. You’ll wander through the Citadel to admire Kinh Thanh Hue, the Yellow Imperial city, Hoang Thanh and the Forbidden Purple city Tu Cam Thanh. The Hue royal complex has been officially recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. You’ll also visit one of the three beautiful mausoleums around Hue.
