tour details

Singapore is a cultural hub and a contrast of old and new. Here, you’ll experience the blending of east and west as you cruise on a bumboat along the Singapore River followed by a drive past famous landmarks located in the Colonial District. You’ll also view the personification of Singapore in the statue of the Merlion, a half lion, half fish. You’ll also visit ethnic areas, Little India and Chinatown, each with its own distinct character and charm. You’ll get to experience dining at a hawker centre and sample some of our mouthwatering local cuisines. Gardens by the Bay, an integral part of Singapore’s “City in a Garden” vision, is our final stop. Here you’ll walk through the Supertree Grove and to the two conservatories: Cloud Forest and Flower Dome.

tour description

Your tour begins at the Singapore River. The river helped transformed Singapore from an obscure fishing village to the great international seaport it is today. You will board a bumboat and navigate along the waterway towards the quay admiring beautifully restored warehouses along the way. Disembark at Boat Quay and learn about Sir Stamford Raffles - the founder of modern day Singapore. Continue to Chinatown, a showcase of the rich cultural history of the earlier settlers and explore the Chinese influence on the city.Proceed to Kampong Glam, a historic site where Malay royalty once lived, is now a bustling centre with traditional shops catering to the Malay community. At Little India, a district that embodies the vibrant and dynamic pulse of the Indian community, you will be greeted by a myriad of colours and aromas the moment you arrive. We stop for lunch at a renowened modern day hawker centre serving up a delicious array of Sngaporean classics. After lunch explore Gardens by the Bay featuring more than 1 million plants from more than 5000 species from around the world. Entrance to Cloud Forest and Flower Dome are included. At the end of the tour, your guide will accompany you back to your hotel either by MRT or public bus.
