tour details

A countryside bike tour is a must for all visitors to Siem Reap. See the lush greenery, meandering rivers and friendly locals that Cambodia is famous for. On this tour you’ll steer clear of the tourist trail and will experience things unseen by most tourists to the region. After arriving at the starting point, you’ll bike along the Siem Reap River, through villages and past stunning countryside landscapes. On your ride you’ll pass local schools, charming temples, vast paddy fields and quaint villages. Towards the end of your 18km ride, you’ll make your way to a typical fishing village where you’ll glimpse the traditional way of living. After a short rest and wander through the village, you’ll continue your ride back to Siem Reap. Riders of all skill levels are encouraged to join this tour.

The wet season is not the ideal time for biking. The best season is from November through to April, roughly corresponding to the dry season and the tourist high season. May, June and July need not be a bad time either, as it is hard to predict when the rains will come. We would not recommend a biking trip during August and September.
