As the highest, most remote and least populated region in India, Ladakh is a unique destination few have the opportunity to experience. This 7-day journey takes travellers to Leh, the capital of Ladakh, situated on the banks of the Indus Valley at a height of 3,500 metres. Along with exploring the town of Leh, with its vibrant markets, guests also discover the monasteries and scenery of the Indus Valley along with excursions further afield to the Nubra Valley and Khardongla Pass, famous for being the highest drivable road in the world.

You will be met upon your arrival at Delhi International Airport and transferred to hotel.

Overnight in Delhi.
After breakfast, transfer to the airport to board a flight for Leh. Make sure to be looking out the window as the aircraft makes it’s approach into Leh airport for maginificent views of the Himalayan Desert. Be met upon your arrival in Leh and transfer to The Grand Dragon Ladakh hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure, relaxing and acclimatising to the high altitude.

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel followed by a full day excursion to the Indus Valley visiting such unique sites as Thiksey Gompa, Shey Palace and Gompa, Hemis Gompa and Ladakhi House.

After breakfast at the hotel, head out on a full day excursion to Pangong Lake. Drive to Pangong Lake via Changla Pass. Pangong Lake is situated at 14,000 feet (4,267 m) and is the only salt water lake in Asia. A long narrow basin of inland drainage, hardly six to seven kilometer at its widest point and over 130 km long, it is bisected by the international border between India and China.
Drive back to Leh in the evening.

After a relaxing breakfast at the hotel, enjoy the day at leisure to explore the beautiful valley on your own.

After breakfast, transfer to the airport to board a flight for Delhi. Be met on arrival in Delhi and transfer to The Park New Delhi hotel. In the afternoon, enjoy a sightseeing tour of Old and New Delhi including stops at famous city sites including the Red Fort, Friday Mosque (Jama Masjid), the silver street of Chandni Chowk, Raj Ghat, a Hindu temple (Birla Mandir), India Gate, the Rashtrapati Bhawan (the President's House), Humayun's Tomb, Qutub Minar and the Bahai Temple.

Overnight in Delhi.
Enjoy one last breakfast at the hotel then spend the rest of the day at leisure in Delhi until transferring to the Delhi International Airport in time to board your onward flight.
