This environmental friendly tour takes you by train through the Central plains of Thailand to the UNESCO World Heritage Sites of Ayutthaya, Sukhothai and Si Satchanalai, to the provincial town of Lampang and finally to Chiang Mai, the vibrating capital of the North and starting point for trekking and rafting trips, canopy adventures, exciting cycling tours, scenic boat rides and drives. During site visits we will use environmental friendly bicycles and local transport, such as pedaled rickshaws, horse carriage or ox-carts to minimize our carbon footprint.

Meeting with your guide at Hua Lampong Railway station. 10:05hrs depart by train to Ayutthaya (1.30 hours on the trip). Just across the railway station is your hotel, where you will deposit your luggage at hotel. Exploring the UNESCO World Heritage site by tuk tuk until 16.00 hrs. Evening is at leisure.

Overnight at Krungsri River Hotel
09.43 hrs board the train to Phitsanuloke - this leg of the journey traverses the "rice bowl" of Thailand. Arrival in Phitsanuloke is scheduled for 13.20 hrs. Tuk Tuk transfer, included short visit Wat Mahattat to Bus Terminal. Leave to Sukhothai by local bus (1.5 hours on the trip). Transfer to your hotel by local transportation style, called Skylab.

Today, you will enjoy a day tour to visit Si Satchanalai, the UNESCO World Heritage Site, located about 53km or 1-hour drive north of Sukhothai, the major sights include Wat Chang Lom, Chedi Chet Thaeo Temple and Nang Phaya Temple, just to name a few, which you will use environmentally friendly bicycles in the park. Back to the old city of Sukhthai around noon to visit the Sukhothai Historical Park. You will use environmentally friendly bicycles to tour in the park, stops will be made at Wat Chetupon and Wat Sapan Hin, an impressive Buddha statue located on a hill-side. The last destination today will be Wat Sri Chum, depicting an enormous seated stucco Buddha over 11 meters in width, called Phra Achana. The mondop is 32 metres square, 15 metres high and the walls are 3 metres thick.

Then, transfer back to your hotel by free shuttle van or tuk tuk to your Sukhothai Treasure Resort

Breakfast and check out. Today is a last chance to be excited on the Skylab, transfer to the Bus Terminal. There are local buses available to Lampang around 09.00- 13.00. The last bus is not later than 13.00 hrs and it's 4.5 hours trip to Lampang. Arrive Lampang Bus Terminal and take a local truck to your hotel.

Overnight at Wienglakor Hotel.

In the morning, tour the city by local truck. Stops will be made at the most interesting temples, each which its own architectural style and history: Wat Pratu Phong and Wat Phra Kaeo Don Tao. You will also visit one of the oldest teak wood houses, Ban Sao Nak. P.M. Transfer to the train station, where you board the local train (non-air-conditioned) at 12.40hrs train bound for Chiang Mai. Arrive Chiang Mai at 14.45 hrs.

Day at leisure in Chiang Mai with your own arrangement
