At a second cave, enter its beautiful chamber. You’ll then head to Semenggoh Nature Reserve – a sanctuary for orangutans. Next, a Borneo Rainforest Kayaking adventure takes you to a Bidayuh village and then on through surrounds of lush vegetation and limestone hills. After unwinding at Permai Rainforest Resort, embark on a mangrove cruise in Kuching Wetlands National Park to search for the estuarine crocodile & watch the fireflies light up the mangrove trees. Later, take a boat to Bako National Park to trek and admire its flora & fauna, including the proboscis monkeys.

Another extra bed can be added. The Superior Room category (Double/Twin Room) does also include rooms with connecting doors (subject to availability).

    Breakfast at the hotel.
Depart on a half-day cycling tour of Kuching. For children there are kid's bikes and junior bikes in different sizes available. Helmets are provided for the whole family.
Discover Kuching's hidden gems, the Malay kampongs, on a bicycle! These Malay villages line the banks of the Sarawak river and make a striking contrast to the modern city centre across river. Enjoy a leisurely bicycle ride through the villages and experience first-hand how the kampong folks live by visiting a traditional Malay wooden stilt house full of historical stories to tell.
Along the way, we will explore the vibrant and exotic open air market of Kubah Ria. Experience the vibrant colour of tropical fresh fruits and vegetables, shop for local handicrafts at non-tourist price, and discover a whole range of jungle produce including unique wild ferns, exotic vegetables as well as orchid plants. This market is a 'must-visit', especially on Saturdays and Sundays during Kuching's famous weekend market!
After the tour, return to your hotel & afternoon free at leisure.

    Overnight at Pullman Hotel.

    Meals included:Breakfast
After breakfast at the hotel, check-out & depart to Semenggoh Nature Reserve (~30 min. drive).
Semenggoh Nature Reserve occupies an area of 740 acres and acts as a sanctuary for orang utans that have been rescued from captivity and young orphaned primates. These animals are trained or re-trained to survive in their natural habitat. They learn how to forage for natural food and build nests in the trees. Many have been returned into the surrounding area, but there are also few that will never re-learn their natural skills due to long association with and dependence on humans. There are daily scheduled feeding times. However, sightings of these primates during feeding times are not guaranteed due to the fact that they are roaming freely within the nature reserve.
After this great experience proceed to Bengoh village in the Borneo Highlands (~40 min drive) for your Borneo Rainforest Kayaking tour. This is a 'must-do' experience for nature lovers and anyone yearning for a little bit of adventure. Upon arrival at Bengoh village you'll be given paddling instructions and a safety briefing before you start your kayaking journey along Sarawak Kiri river.
Half-way down the river, you'll alight to explore a delightful Bidayuh village and have a native lunch. After which, continue your relaxing journey surrounded by lush vegetation on both banks, to a sandy bank beneath soaring limestone hills, but not before getting past an 'exciting' Class 1 to 2 (depending on the water volume and flow) rapid! After a swim you'll continue the journey, enthralled by the ever changing and stunning scenic views of limestone hills around each bend of the river.
End of tour & transfer to Permai Rainforest Resort (~1 hr. 30 min. drive) for check-in.
Permai Rainforest Resort is a simple and small eco-resort set in pristine rainforest located on the shores of the South China Sea, and at the foot of Mount Santubong. Carefully designed to minimise impact on the natural environment, it offers a great rainforest experience. The 10 treehouses, which are built on stilts 20 feet above the ground, offer you the unique experience of sleeping amongst the canopy of the trees. Each treehouse is furnished with either 1 queen-size bed or 2 single beds and can accommodate 2 persons (note: children below 12 years of age may not stay at a tree house without adult supervision). It is possible to arrange 1 extra mattress for a child in a treehouse.
Enjoy the scenery of lush forest vegetation surrounding your treehouse or cabin and if you are lucky you get a first glimpse of one of the three different species of monkeys that do occasionally roam in the resort's premises.

The resort also offers many activities, such as nature walks, obstacle courses, compass reading, beach and indoor games and many more (chargeable).
You may also opt to visit the nearby Sarawak Cultural Village (not included in the package), a living museum which provides you the opportunity to learn about the different tribes of Sarawak and witness a colourful demonstration of the traditional native dances.
In the late afternoon you will embark on a mangrove cruise with your guide. This cruise takes you to the mouth of the Santubong river and along the mangrove forest of Kuching Wetlands National Park. Enjoy the amazing scenery of the mangrove swamp and learn how the various animals, like the proboscis monkeys, and the uniquely adapted mangrove trees develop a complex symbiotic eco-system. If the weather permits you will get to see a breath-taking sunset over the unique scenery of the mangrove forest.
In the dark you will continue your cruise through the mangroves in search for the estuarine crocodile. Their eyes shine in a bright red colour when hit by the light of torch lights. Another natural phenomenon are the fireflies that congregate in the mangrove trees and let them shine like Christmas trees! After this exciting experience return to the resort for dinner.
