Mergui Archipelago, is one of Asia’s last island worlds which remains virtually untouched. Here you will find 800 remote islands, a national park, white beaches and indigenous people who roam the archipelago in dugout canoes. Join a cruise on a classic sailing yacht and enjoy this unspoiled paradise. You will swim, snorkel, laze at empty beaches and discover the islands sailing aboard SY Meta IV or SY Meltemi.

Join-in tour with departure on Saturday.

Pick up from your hotel and transfer to Kawthaung jetty to board the luxurious yacht. (check-in time is at 10:30 hours) Full day sailing until you make a stop at Barwell Island where you will spend the evening on the beach. You have options: Relax at the beach or go for a swim before dinner and drinks.
Overnight on board
Breakfast on board. After a refreshing swim, start your passage to Island No.115, a place often frequented by Moken sea gypsies. In the afternoon, you will reach the group of small islands called Mid Group. If time permits, go for a dinghy excursion into a nearby mangrove forest on Island No. 88. Dinner to be followed in this beautiful covered area.
Overnight on board
In the morning, slowly sail towards the little village on Nyaung Wee Island and visit the local sea gypsy settlement. After lunch, sail west to Great Swinton Island. Jungle walk along the creek and collecting seashells on the huge beach. For those who are interested in Buddhism, a short visit in a local monastery. Snorkelling, then sundowners on deck. Take a chance to watch the bioluminescent plankton at night.
Overnight on board
Early-morning sail to tiny Ohway Island for the best snorkelling (and great fishing) in the great area. Observe the colourful life of the reef, full of soft and hard corals and plentiful of tropical fish. After lunch, set sail for Jar Lann Island and anchor in its large fjord, one of the most spectacular bays in the archipelago. Next, in the mangrove forest, watch the hornbills at dusk. Fine dining on board. Relaxation time under the starry sky.
Overnight on board
Long, leisurely sail towards Za Det Nge Island with its beautiful bays and beaches. Visit Rhino Island on the way. Its stunning turquoise waters are perfect for enjoying the sun. Later, move towards for the farewell dinner party on the beach.
After a leisurely breakfast, sail back to Kawthaung and disembark around 09:00 hours for your onward journey.

  • Port and zone fees: approximately USD per 310 person (The Myanmar authorities charge of foreign visitors) various fees for entering the Mergui Archipelago, which are to be paid by the guests to immigration authorities before boarding. The rate of the government fees is subject to change and will be advised upon booking.
