Embark for an authentic journey of discoveries from visiting temples, pagodas, palaces and monasteries to remote villages aboard this ship. Sailing on the luxury cruise along the Ayeyarwaddy River. Visit also include some main Temples and Pagodas in Bagan and Mandalay.

Your journey begins with breakfast in the tranquil gardens of the oldest lacquerware house in Bagan. You will then move onto the nearby Shwezigon Pagoda, famous for its gold leaf d'e9cor, and the Ananda temple, famous as being one of the four great temples of Bagan and one of most exquisite temples in Myanmar. After enjoying lunch on board, continue exploring Bagan Heritage Trail. Back on board, enjoy the breath-taking sunset with special Strand signature cocktail. After that, you are invited to the Myanmar Traditional Cultural Show on the sundeck.
Overnight on board
The ship casts off on day two for a relaxing cruise upstream towards Mandalay to enjoy the passing landscapes and villages along the river bank, with scenes reminiscent of the days of Rudyard Kipling and other intrepid explorers who have visited this rugged landscape over the centuries. Spend the afternoon drifting on the gentle waters of the Ayeyarwady, relax on the sun deck, meditate, visit the spa or enjoy the activities and workshops before enjoying a traditional Strand afternoon tea. As night falls, ship will moor on a remote and wild section of the river. Surrounded only by the soft whispering of nature, Captain invites you to a cocktail and tapas dinner in the Sarkies Bar, followed by a traditional Myanmar puppet show in the restaurant.
Overnight on board
Enjoy the morning as the ship will cruise until mid-afternoon. Participate in the Cooking Demonstration and Myanmar traditional Thanaka and Longyi Demonstration by the cruise staffs. Arrive in Ava, the ancient imperial capital of successive Burmese Kingdoms from the 14th to 19th centuries. Horse carts await the ship to transport guests for a delightful ride through the naturally preserved landscape and the key landmarks. Back to the ship, enjoy your decent dinner in the Strand Restaurant.
Overnight on board
The first stop is the U Bein Bridge, the longest teak bridge that spans the Taungthaman Lake near Amarapura, before visiting the Mahamui Buddha temple. Following lunch back on board as you cruise to Mingun, one of the country's former capitals. Visit the unfinished Mingun pagoda, as well as the Hsinbyume pagoda, an impressive pagoda that rises in seven curved whitewashed terraces. Join the signature dinner in the Strand Restaurant.
Overnight on board
After breakfast, cruise towards the Gawein Jetty in Mandalay, where guests will depart the cruise to the airport or hotels.
