The Irrawaddy Voyages cruises are custom designed for the most comfort and safety of passengers and crew on board for cruising along the Irrawaddy River. The traditional boutique style ships not only present Myanmar cultural details but also offer the luxurious comforts and hearty services. This 4 nights cruise will introduce you the unusual trails of the tourist attractions in combination with relaxing voyages between Mandalay and Bagan.

Join-in tour with departure on Wednesday.

The embarkation time is 11:30 hours at Bagan Ye Kin jetty and cast off after half an hour.
Welcome Cocktail and briefing in the Saloon or Sundeck followed by Lunch. Afternoon visit to a selection of the over 2,000 listed pagodas and temples in Bagan, an archeological area boasting the great glory of old Myanmar times.

Early in the morning cruise downstream to reach Tankyitaung (Tankyi Mountain). Drive to the mountaintop where stands one of the four stupas that marked the original edges of the city. Lunch on board and continue all the day upstream sailing.

Sail upstream while enjoying the cruise plenty facilities. Stop en-route in the morning to visit Yandabo, a typical river village specializing in pottery making, where the peace treaty of the First Anglo-Burmese war was signed on Feb. 24, 1826. Visit the pottery workshops, monastery and school.

After breakfast, passengers wishing to visit Sagaing can go ashore with the assistance of the Ship Manager. Lunch on board.
After cruising upstream for two hours, arrive at Mingun where you will visit the impressive unfinished pagoda and the largest working bell in the world. English speaking manager (or your private guide) will accompany you during the visit.
Overnight on board.
Enjoy the sunrise. After an early breakfast, the passengers will disembark at Gawein Jetty around 08:00 hours.

River Conditions Warning:

The Irrawaddy River is subject to seasonal rises and falls of water level.
In the case of water levels being too high or low an alternative itinerary will be offered to Passenger.
Published itineraries are indication only and subject to sudden change. In such events alternative itineraries will be provided and we do our best to ensure that if a stop is missed we make up for it with another stop.
Though every effort will be made to ensure that the published itinerary is followed as closely as possible, given uncertain river and other local conditions, all schedules and itineraries may be subject to alterations and delays at short notice.
The ships manager and captain are jointly responsible for passengers comfort and safety. Passengers must accept their decisions and instructions.
