Begin your adventure at Kota Kinabalu with time to explore the city before heading to Kinabalu Park – a UNESCO World Heritage site. Here you’ll find Mt. Kinabalu, the highest mountain in Malaysia, towering majestically above the jungle at 4,095m. On a trek along forest trails, learn about the unique rainforest as you pass native villages and palm oil plantations on the way to Sukau / Bilit. A scenic boat ride along the Kinabatangan River offers a rare chance to spot macaques, hornbills, orangutans, languors & the Borneo Pygmy Elephant. Next, visit the Orang Utan Sanctuary at Sepilok and observe how orphaned orangutans are trained to be returned to the forest. You’ll end your tour with a boat ride to a coral island in the Tunku Abdul Rahman Park to swim, snorkel or relax on the beach.

Meet your guide upon arrival at Kota Kinabalu airport and transfer to hotel (3 Star) or hotel of similar standard. Rest of the day is free to explore the city on your own.
