    14:00 hours
In the afternoon, arrive at Sukhothai airport and enjoy a warm welcome by your local tour guide. Transfer to the Sriwilai Resort & Spa which overlooks the endless rice fields and natural landscape, making for an unforgettable stay.

After check-in and freshening up, visit the small hilltop temple Wat Saphan Hin. Saphan Hin means stone bridge and refers to the stone path that leads to the top hill where a 12-meter high standing Buddha awaits you in this very atmospheric location.

Before returning to your hotel, take a short stroll along the picturesque Saritphong Dam built 700 years ago to supply drinking water for Sukhothai since the ancient capital had no direct connection to sufficient quantities of running clean waters during the dry season.

    Meals included:none
With an aim to promote social benefit, certain areas around Sukhothai airport have been gradually converted into green area starting about ten years ago. Initially a rice farming experiment in small field without use of chemicals, the project grew little by little before venturing into a larger space until setting up the Organic Agriculture Project, as we can see today. This morning you have the opportunity to come to close contact with the organic agriculture and participate in the activities of this "Outdoor classroom" to learn and actually join the work in the project with the real organic farmers being your guide. (Farmer's clothes and rubber shoes will be provided on lending basis - must be returned.)

After lunch, short drive to a local votive tablet workshop and watch how they are made. People in the ancient time created these small terracotta images in order to remind Buddha and his teachings. Buddhist votive tablets collecting has becomes a cult of modern Thai society because the exchange value of some pieces can rise easily to be as high as many millions baht. You will have the chance to make your own votive tablet, which will be baked and then delivered to your hotel.

In the late afternoon, visit one of Sukhothai's most magnificent sites: Wat Sri Chum. Located outside the north-western walls, it houses a massive seated Buddha image with a set of gold-tapered fingers reaching towards the earth, each as tall as a full-grown person.

Your guide will escort you to the "Talad Muang Kao" or morning market and suggest what to offer to the monks. Common gifts include rice, side dishes, fresh fruit and traditional sweet snacks. You will find this to be a spiritually uplifting way to start your day! Return to the hotel and enjoy breakfast.

We leave the historical park and make the short journey to Baan Suan Suda, where your host will introduce you to homegrown herbs, vegetable and fruit whilst you stroll through the lush garden. For lunch you can if you decided, roll up your sleeves and participate in your own Thai cooking experience. Converse in the relaxing surroundings while you enjoy the dishes you have created with your host.
